A couple of years ago I came across the remains of a 2' gauge railroad project that a guy was about to take to the scrap yard. We made a deal and I brought it home where it was put in storage. We recently purchased a new home way out in the country where now my friends and I have been able to begin construction. This is a quick cell phone video tour of what has been accomplished in the last 2 months.
The plan is to lay track in a 430' loop around my yard. The railroad will be used to help maintain my property as well as for my crew & I to run on. Located in Southeast Illinois.
