In this vlog, we visit four of our Farm Walls across Laramie, Wyoming. Travis walks through the unique crops on each wall, his favorite things about each Farm Wall, and some of the tricks to keep our plants happy.
We’ve got a wide variety of crops thriving in our Laramie Farm Walls, including but not limited to:
- Tomatoes
- Mint (watch out for those runners!)
- Romanesco broccoli
- Rainbow Chard
- Chives
Travis chats about why each of these crops is doing great in the Farm Walls. But he’s also excited to share his favorite parts of each Farm Wall location:
- Travel Inn’s aesthetic progress proves that the Farm Walls aren’t just bringing fresh food to folks in Laramie, but also making our town beautiful with a natural touch.
- Cross Country Connection scared us with the amount of shade on the Farm Wall build. But Travis was pleased to find that the shade is helping this Farm Wall grow the biggest and best of them all! This just goes to show that you don't always need a South facing wall to grow happy plants.
- Star Signs’ Farm Wall gives the owners children a real experience on how food can be grown.
- Coffee Engineering’s unique layout gave us an opportunity to test integrating Farm Walls into any structural design.
