After Elian passed me the intro, I decided to go for something that sounded both threatening and playful.
I also got Meriki to come up with a melody, which I used as the base for the climax (and by that, I meant that I counterpointed over it a bunch). I guess this song technically marks Meriki’s first time composing.

SttJ got bashed hard when it came out for many reasons, not the least of which was because its music sucked.
Somehow, I’ve managed to find myself as the composer for SttJ, so now I’m slowly working to “fix Sparen’s mistakes” and replace its OST.
I managed to finish 5 songs in time for the first update.

This is a huge departure from my usual style, huh.
Partly because I was too lazy to change the intro from Sparen’s version.
But when it comes to factory break-ins, who doesn’t instantly think synth & guitar?
At least it’s still got my signature counterpoint at the end.

I rewrote the melody so many freaking times because
I just couldn’t come up with something laid-back.
In the end, the song turned out upbeat instead.
And you know what? It actually fits Teiki better.
