A very catchy song and some fun background movement make for a very good video overall. Even if the quartet isn't doing much more than playing their respective instruments, I love how there's very little dead movement among all four characters. Not to mention that Yuugi bopping to Konngara's solo midway through is one of THE cutest things in the entire EWI series. This is a great example of attention to detail among all of the characters during the entire presentation without being distracting, even if they're just blinking every so often.
As for the loop, Swordsman of a Distant Star doesn't loop naturally, so it just stops and starts over after a brief pause. That's all I had to incorporate and it was an easy one.

Except for the fact that I managed to roll crap seeds for all five of us.

Yeah, it turns out we cant get through the Lost Forest without help (or possibly knowing the way through in advance) ahead of time, so we retreat for now and find a guide in the form of the party member we should have allowed to join to begin with!
With Jerin in the party, were one town away from locating Artea but, rather than one big dungeon to traverse for our next goal, we have three towers to climb and one big puzzle to solve! So, after a bit of information gathering, we get ready to climb.

Rent.
The only word that Fumiko needs in order to bring Gennojo to heel in order to do her dirty work for her. This is what you get for trying to solve an incident with your landlady and the poor guy just cant catch a break.
Gameplay-wise this is a tough pairing as they share the same weakness for dealing with regular enemies, but cover for each other in other ways with Fumikos bomb and Gennojos shikigami attack being the more reliable of each.

In one of those awkward episodes thats as long as it is because there werent any good split points without making other ones too short, we tackle the next level of the Old Cave for even more goodies and return to the three towers to finish solving the puzzle.
The good news is we finally make it to Elfrea.
The bad news is... well, look at the thumbnail.
Fortunately, we not only get a solid lead on what we have to do next, but also get one of Jerins best weapons in the game for free!

Turns out were foiled by one of our greatest nemeses in any given RPG: A locked door!
On the plus side, the Imperial Soldiers within the ruins are blocked by the same one without being given a new hint as to where to go next.
However, we cant exactly head to the Altena church just yet, as we have a rescue mission to get underway first!
But before that, we have a plot-mandated rest to take to things can switch back to Viese for a while.

Two things:
First, it turns out that Simsilt isnt too concerned about us returning with a dragon man in tow, because they actually know who he is! On the plus side, that saves time on our part.
Second, looks like our fetch quests arent done as there are more repairs to be done on the ship and finding the only one who can repair it quickly involves climbing a nearby mountain.
So its either that or stay behind and have to eat Noins cooking...
