This project started off as a bit of an experiment to see where I could go with reproducing a very dated track in a modern bass music production and mixing style, and ended up growing into a fully-fledged remake/remaster over the course of a few months and ~80 hours of work. It mostly stays true to the original composition and aims to improve and redefine the technical side of the track more so than anything else, to give a spine and punching power to a track which originally was more suited for background. All instrumentation is original and no audio from the original track has been used, although several parts do use part of the original midi, such is the nature of a remake/remaster.

I will probably try some other stuff with other Touhou tracks, but nothing on the 'remaster' side, rather actual remixes that completely change the meaning of the track.
