Ah, a fan favorite.
This is definitely one of the highlights of the EOSD soundtrack. A very memorable track among ZUN's vast catalog of songs. It has a pleasantly majestic mood that helps ease the player in a bit before hitting us with the hell that awaits in Stage 4, 5, & 6. It’s really something special ^_^
Also, I know I literally said that I was going to mix things up with new samples in the last Touhou video, but using samples slows my computer down like crazy and destroys my workflow. I'll still use them occasionally, but just expect more of the usual synth and bells.

I intended to make it more Chinese, but it didn't quite work out. (^^;
However, it's still Oriental, because I knew it would be hard to put Oriental songs past stage 4 (^^;
It's more New Age rather than Fusion, I guess?
