Today I bring you the first track from Touhou 18 Unconnected Marketeers.
It's been a while since I last uploaded something, it's already becoming a habit ... But in my absence, the Touhou 18 demo was released!
I have not been able to take a look to the demo until a couple of days ago because, due to my studies, I have to travel a lot and I have not been at home. But now I'm back home, so let's talk about this new game ...
At first sight, the themes of this demo seem quite interesting. As in Th17, pianos are an important part of the OST, and I LIKE that. I have noticed how ZUN in these songs resorts to the use of piano arpeggios on the bass line as a substitute for the strings, to fill the songs more, in addition to the return to the use of acoustic basses. That is good.
On the other hand ... Elementic strikes again. We have to assimilate that it is the new Gator Kit. Except this theme, all the themes use Elementic, which I do not dislike at all, but I wish he would explore more. GA has a huge library and kits that are worth a lot.
As for this particular track, the truth is that I wasn't expecting an opening song like this, the saxes do a very good job, and the melody isn't bad at all.

No tenía planeado hacer este tema, ya que presenta no mucha variación respecto el original, pero me lo habéis pedido mucho, así que aquí os lo traigo.
Adoro el estilo de los temas de estos primeros juegos de windows, aunque son un verdadero dolor de muelas a la hora de transcribirlos, pero merece la pena.

Hoy os traigo el siguiente tema del disco Ghostly Field Club.
Este tema es originario de Shuusou Gyoku, en concreto el tema de
Erich. La verdad es que el desarrollo de este tema es bastante curioso, ya que la primera versión de este tema la escuchamos en la antigua página de ZUN en forma de un adelanto del disco, renderizado completamente con instrumentos de SC-88Pro, pero publicada supuestamente en 20002 (por un error tipográfico).
Aun así, no me había parado a escuchar con detenimiento este tema, y wow, me encantó. Adoro el contraste entre entre el inicio lento y el ritmo acelerado del resto del tema, me encantó realizar este tema.

Today I bring you the next track from the CD Ghostly Field Club.
This theme is original from Shuusou Gyoku, beeing Erichs theme. The truth is that the story of this theme is quite interesting. ZUN released a preview of this CD pulishing a first version of this theme entirely rendered with a SC-88Pro in his old music website, but it was released... in 20002? (by a typo)
Even so, I didnt pay too much attention to this theme until now, and wow, Im really surprised how good this theme is. I really love the contrats between the slow begining and the rest of the part, and the melody is really good, i really enjoy trasncribing this one!

Hoy os traigo de nuevo el tema del stage 6 de Touhou 11 Subterranean Animism.
Me encanta cuando ZUN utiliza este tipo de compases poco comunes, adoro como alterna entre 5/4 y 3/4 en este tema, le da una sensación completamente única. Traté de hacer el tema un poco más limpio que la versión original, aunque perdía bastante debido a ello, por lo que al final decidí hacerlo sonar más parecido a la versión original.
En fin, espero que os guste :D

Today I bring you the 6th stage theme from Touhou 11 Subterranean Animism.
I love it when ZUN uses this kind of time signatures, I love how he alternates between 5/4 and 3/4 in this theme, it gives him a completely unique feeling.
I tried to make the theme a little cleaner than the original version, but at the end I decided to make it sound more similar to the original version.

Today I bring you the first theme from the album East-West Tokaido ~ Retrospective 53 minutes.
First of all, thanks to everyone for the support, we have finally reached 10,000 subscribers, I never thought that this channel would grow so much, thank you very much to all!
Sorry I could not do anything in this last month, but the final exams of the university have prevented me from doing anything, besides that sincerely my mood has not been very good that we say these days.
Well, lets talk about this theme. I like to see how ZUN uses different effects in this theme, like the phaser in the 0:57 min and the delay. The sound of the beginning and end was extracted directly from the original audio, being a sound effect and not being able to find the original library. I tried to replicate it or use a different sound, but it is so characteristic that I finally opted for this alternative.

Lets continye with the themes of this album with the theme of the head of stage 1, Wriggle Nightbug. The truth is that I adore this song, when we did the distribution of songs I was very happy to be able to do this song.
At first I wanted to make it in a th16 style, mainly because of Eterity Larva, but since Mystias theme was done in that style I decided to do it in an SA style. A strong theme like Wriggles would sound great in this style, and I think I was able to make it shine.

Today I bring you the title screen theme from Touhou 16.5 Violet Detector.
Has been some months since the game was released, but finally I could transcribe the OST.
About the OST, Its really interesting for me. In the first place we have this title screen theme. Its the first time since Touhou 4 that ZUN doesnt use the theme of Eastern Story in a title screen theme, but even so it really reminds me to it. About the rest of the OST Ill talk more in each video, but i really love how ZUN experiments in his recent themes.
By the way, Im trying for the first time this new translations option, so please notice me if it works properly :3
