Today I bring you Mayumi Joutouguu's theme, stage 5th boss from Touhou 17 Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.
I love the strength of this theme. From the beginning it shows us how strong this battle will be. It reminds me a lot of The Tiger-Patterned Bishamonten, which I adore, I love how the themes of bosses 5 are so powerful.
I also loved how the compass changes along the theme, I really love to see how ZUN experiments with this OST.

Today I bring you the stage 1st theme from Touhou 17 Wily Beast and Weakest Creature.
Possibly one of my favorite themes of the demo. I love the sound of the acoustic guitar when ZUN uses it, thats why Im so eager to do Neo-Traditionalism of Japan. This particular theme brings me back many memories of Heartfelt Fancy, both for the guitar and the instrumentation and the feeling it conveys.
The truth is that this theme was quite complicated to transcribe , Its curious how in the last games always the stage 1 theme is hard to transcribe for me...

A classic ZUN theme, very reminiscent of MoF themes in my opinion. It quickly became one of the fandoms favorites, but I personally dont like it much. I love how the choirs sound on this song, I really appreciate seeing how ZUN starts to get more and more out of its comfort zone.
