Goofing around with the SM64 soundfont is very fun. Someone probs did this before but idc. Also, I kept a couple of instruments from regular BIS. This isn't meant to be a faithful SM64 soundfont re-creation. I'm sure Nintendo would have made some low quality marimbas if they were required for Mario 64.

Yes, sorry about that. Went on holiday for a week. I managed to make some pretty nice music whilst I was gone though, so theres that.
This is a theme that Ive had lying about for a while. It was one of the first ones that I made, but we didnt import it until recently.
I rushed this level, though. Thats why it sucks. To make up for it, I added some custom music (volume warning!)

In my previous video, a lot of people commented on how it didnt really sound like Super Paper Mario. Thats likely because although I used samples from the game, I was trying to match the instrumentation of the original song. It was just something silly I made for fun.
However, since Im a girl of the people, I took another stab at it. The Inside Bowser variants are quite synthy by default, so I decided to try one of those. I tried to use mostly synths from the Gloam Valley area, but theres bits and pieces from all over the place.
Its important to note that (at least to my knowledge), not everything is included in the soundfont. Since unlike a soundfont for an older game, people have to manually track down where each instrument came from rather than taking them straight from the files.")
