Creative Assembly has revealed even more gameplay for Total War Warhammer 40K and this showcase explains one of the biggest changes yet with how armies, squads and individual soldiers actually work in battle!

From mixed weapon squads and embedded characters to Space Marine drop pods, Astra Militarum reinforcements and manually controlled orbital bombardments, these new mechanics add far more tactical depth than we've seen in previous Total War games. Combined with everything we learned about ranged combat in the last reveal, we're starting to get a much clearer picture of how battles will play when the game launches.
