With a push towards Super Games, and likely Trilogies from Sega and CA, I ask: what could a Roman Total War Trilogy look like?

I did this before for the Medieval World, but, due to balance issues, I think the Roman world is too complex to be split by era.
Imagine a Rome 1, Rome 2, and Rome 3!
