On Sunday (May 15), the moon passes into the deep umbral shadow of the Earth in a band of visibility across the Americas, Antarctica, Europe, Africa and the east Pacific.
The Super Flower Blood Moon lunar eclipse, as it's called, will be the first total lunar eclipse of 2022.
