My friend and I made a last-minute dash for Corvallis OR to watch the Eclipse. It was totally worth the 15+ hours of traffic. Both of us had to be back up in seattle for work on Tuesday morning.
We brought along extra gas in cans just like the Fake News told us to and slept in a friend's yard. Work has been such a freaking slog, honestly this was exactly the vacation I needed.
