Legendary Silent Hill composer Akira Yamaoka has joined forces with Apogee Entertainment and Trigger Happy Interactive to bring his haunting sound to Total Chaos, the highly anticipated standalone survival horror game from the creator of Turbo Overkill.

To celebrate Halloween, we’re unveiling a first listen to Yamaoka’s chilling original track, “Catharsis,” written exclusively for Total Chaos. This one-minute preview showcases the unsettling atmosphere and dread-filled ambiance that define the horrors of Fort Oasis.

Total Chaos began as a DOOM II total conversion mod before evolving into a full psychological survival horror experience. Developed by Sam Prebble, a former Weta FX artist who worked on Avatar, The Hobbit, and Rise of the Planet of the Apes, this definitive edition pulls players into a terrifying journey through isolation, decay, and madness.
