Hi everyone! So this is a question I get asked a lot from panicking tortoise owners. It's such a difficult one to answer as there are so many variables. I tried to answer it in the best way that I could but with Sheldon, I basically just make sure she has food available all the time for whenever she would like it because in the wild she wouldn't have meal times, she would just graze whenever he wanted. She's not going to get fat on a healthy diet and the fibre is really important for her as a herbivore. If you are concerned about the health of your tortoise, please try to find a tortoise savy vet. It's so much better to be safe than sorry.
