The inaugural Night Economy Town Hall took place January 17, 2024. Business owners, cultural producers, artists, event organizers, community associations and residents attended the event in person or online and had the opportunity to connect with fellow night economy enthusiasts, and share ideas, to enhance the vibrant nightlife in Toronto.
Within the town hall session various topics were covered including updates on the nightlife action plan, safety measures and the results from ongoing discussions about potential regulatory changes to licensing and zoning for restaurants, bars, and entertainment businesses.
