The Toronto Diversity Festival attracts people from all over the GTA and surrounding regions, including many who will have attended Moksha Canada events throughout previous summers. Toronto is Canada’s most ethnically diverse city with nearly 80 percent of residents self-identifying as visible minorities.
Toronto Diversity Festival is a safe space to celebrate their cultural diversity with artistic performances, food, music, dance, children's activities, vendors, local businesses, and many more activities for all ages and interests.
The Toronto Diversity Festival promotes our region’s richly diverse culture and heritage through arts and cultural performances; by showcasing foods from different ethnic countries that bring out the rich tastes and traditions of our increasingly diverse region. The festival also celebrates harmony through different multicultural performances. Also, exhibitors will be selling clothing, jewelry, paintings, handicrafts, and food.
The festival will include a variety of participatory activities for all ages to enjoy, including cooking demonstrations, interactive workshops, panel discussions, competitions, games, and more.
To celebrate diversity in the Toronto region, Moksha Canada strives to recognize unique differences across cultures by recognizing the many cultures and lifestyles represented in the region.
We are all one, regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, sexual orientation, socio-economic status, age, physical abilities, religious beliefs, political beliefs, or other ideologies.
This interaction, through the inclusion and welcoming of diverse Canadians, will help to increase participants' sense of belonging and attachment to Canada.
