The Tormach xsTECH is well appointed with all the tools you need to start cutting, including two sets of clamps to secure your workpieces to the table. One large and one small, both with a set of "ladders" to help with placement and clamp force. Since they are made of plastic they can take an occasional wandering tool cutter.
There are other workholding methods to secure your parts to the xsTECH table. You could print out your own workholding jigs and clamps. We demonstrate a jig that is designed to have a low profile that will stay away from the cutter. The other is a low profile 3D printed clamp that secures to the table and then squeezes it into place. Using two of these can secure the part to the table while keeping the part secure and true to the cutting angle.
Finally, you can design a large production jig that covers most of the table to hold multiple parts so that they can be cut out and then replaced with new material, while keeping the jig lined up to cut an endless supply of parts.
