When you purchase either the 8L Lathe, 24R Router or any 770M/MX and 1100M/MX mill, you will have the option to upgrade from the standard monitor arm and tray to a PathPilot Operator Console. Many of our customers feel that the few hundred dollar difference is worth it to add extra features the standard controller system doesn't include.

Firstly, the PathPilot Operator Console is just straight up more elegant. It adds a level of professionalism a monitor arm and tray can't match.

Secondly, the status light informs you when the machine is running with a solid green light, when it hits an M1 break with a flashing green light, and a blinking blue light when the machine is in reset. All of these can be viewed from across the room.

Thirdly, the PathPilot Operator Console also includes a handy jog pendent, to allow for jogging the X,Y and Z travels with physical controls for direct feedback.

And lastly, the direct feedback continues with physical knobs for feed rate, RPM and velocity gives machinists the tactile feedback a touchscreen can't provide. There's no need to take your eyes off the workpiece to control your mill. It's a gamechanger.
