Dressing Terran R for success: A thermal protection system (TPS) shields a rocket from the intense heat during launch and re-entry. With an in-house built torch testing station, we've been testing a variety of candidate TPS materials and collecting data to compare their thermal performance, durability, mass efficiency, and other properties.
Underpinned by our iterative approach, our in-house, rapid testing of TPS prototypes provides valuable data on new concepts and enables us to develop cutting-edge TPS materials and solutions to be scaled and integrated for flight.
