If you are like me you have wondered in the past, how much money does Topps REALLY make? In this video I wanted to see if I could answer that question on a small scale. I looked at hobby boxes of Topps Chrome from 2016 and 2023 and did my best to calculate how much money topps made on both years. While I had A TON of assumptions and the numbers are not accurate, I think that it shows that Topps is making a lot of money on Topps Chrome and they are making significantly more money in 2023 then they did in 2016.
I want to note again that these numbers are all guesstimates and are 100% accurate. I do not know how much money Topps ACTUALLY made since I do not see their financial statements, profit margins, or other important inputs. This video is a fun best guess on what I think it could be with the limited knowledge that is publicly facing.
