For this week’s tip, we take a cached fluid simulation, mesh it using the xpOpenVDBMesher and show you how to transfer particle velocities - showcasing a seamless workflow for creating realistic motion blur effects. By setting up the mesh to transfer particle velocities, we generate motion vector maps that are used in Redshift to produce smooth and dynamic motion blur. You’ll learn how to refine velocity data and address common artifacts for clean, polished renders.
Perfect to demonstrate how to bring fluid simulations to life with professional-grade motion blur.
