Safety is incredibly important. Don't end up like these people. Use your noggin. Don't act like a cool guy who is too cool to be safe. Being safe is cool. So be cool, but not "cool cool". You get it.

1) Be aware of your surroundings. If you see something, say something to the front desk staff. In case of any emergency or injury, go to the front desk immediately!
2) Ensure electrical safety at all times. Watch how you use cables/crossovers/power distribution. If you have questions about electrical safety on the stages, visit the Tech Cage.
3) Be cautious on ladders, lifts, and catwalks. Lifts should only be used by certified operators.
4) Secure all gear (sandbag c-stands, safety chain lights on grid, etc.) to ensure no tripping or toppling hazards.
5) Always make sure fire lanes are clear of sets, props, and materials.
6) Make sure your crew knows where to find the closest fire extinguisher and emergency exits.
7) Be cautious of riding down the firepole. Make sure to read the instructions provided first! Never attempt to climb up the firepole.
8) If someone is seriously injured, call 911 and immediately inform the YouTube Space security staff.
9) As is the case for all productions, no open toed shoes are allowed on set.
10) If you don’t know, ASK! Bring any questions to the front desk. They can find the right person to answer your question or concern.
