Jeremy was not impressed. Though he did concede that the powertrain of the BMW was more than sufficient, everything around the engine seemed to fall below the level of quality that you come to expect from BMW. The suspension was so rough that is seemed to find every flaw in a seemingly smooth road. The plastic components were so cheap that it would have given General Motors a run for their money. Overall the BMW X3 felt like a car that had been bid out to the lowest bidder.
