It's summer and I wanted to talk a little bit about college orientation. For me at UC Davis orientation I had a great time and met a lot of friends over those two days. Because i wasn't vlogging yet there wasn't a video about orientation from me, so here I go trying to make up for that.

On the night of one of the largest human rights protests in United States history our community Mosque the Islamic Center of Davis was vandalized. Windows were smashed, bike tires were punctured and strips of bacon were wrapped around door handles (Muslims do not consume pork products). This Hate Crime resulted in Sunday Islamic School being canceled to insure the safety of their children.

This years pride parade focused on the resistance of bigotry and discrimination. The SF Pride Parade with over 200 parade contingents and exhibitors, and more than twenty community-run stages and venues, the San Francisco Pride Celebration and Parade is the largest gathering of the LGBT community and allies in the nation.
A celebration of the LGBT community in the USA and in the Bay Area during Pride month, with a notion of the Resist March movement.
