What does the next six months hold for the United States?
On September 22nd, the Sun enters Libra and Autumn begins. The chart for that moment can be read as a forecast of future events.
I asked Mychal Bryan to read this year's chart for Washington, D.C. Mychal is one of my own teachers: the author of several books on traditional astrology, founder of the Oraculos School of Astrology, and a specialist in blind chart readings — delivering analyses of natal charts without ever speaking to the person they belong to. He'd never seen this chart before we started recording.
What follows is not a comfortable watch. Mychal doesn't pull his punches. He sees serious trouble ahead for the American housing market, and a financial picture he describes as pointing towards great financial damage. He reads Mars in hard aspect to the ascendant as conflict making landfall on American soil. He returns to the Saturn-Neptune conjunction, a pairing that comes around roughly every 36 years and which the Uranian tradition associates with sickness and disease, and argues that the outbreak this conjunction promised hasn't arrived yet. He has a blunt reading of Donald Trump's position, one that happens to match a pattern I flagged independently in my last forecast video. He makes a call on the November midterms. And he sees a possible change of government in Iran.
