Creepy Nuts carry! Here's my opinion of the 72 best OPs of 2024, based on how much I like the song and visuals (art/animation) of each OP combined. It wasn't a really strong year for anime openings but it's worth going back in time a little to appreciate the best.
Intro songs:
Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season BD Eps 7-8 OP: "S**cidal Tendency" by mito (clammbon)
Monogatari Series: Off & Monster Season BD Ep 1 OP: "icecream" by Tsukihi Araragi (CV: Yuka Iguchi) & Yotsugi Ononoki (CV: Saori Hayami).
I chose these for some extra monogatari representation, and because they deserve an honourable mention. The OPs in the outro at the end of the video are also 2024 OPs that deserve an honourable mention, great songs that didn't make my list because they were held back by weaker visuals.
