This Sunday, I’m joined by my friend and designer Brian Asklev for a stream all about one question: what are the best games to start with if you want to get into wargaming?

We’ll each bring five recommendations, not as a strict ranking, but as a series of very subjective categories: the best introduction to card-driven games, block wargames, hex-and-counter systems, lighter historical games, and more. The goal is to offer different entry points depending on your tastes, your experience, and how deep you want to go. Expect plenty of discussion, disagreement, and extra recommendations along the way.
