How tall can you build a 1x1 domino tower in just 3 minutes? Feel free to try the challenge as much as you’d like, and keep breaking your own personal record! Submit your best attempt, and I’ll put together a highlight reel for our next Collaborative Community Compilation :)
RULES AND GUIDELINES:
🔹 Dominoes must be loose in their container to start (you may not pre-stack the dominoes)
🔹 Your 3 minute timer must be clearly visible in the video. If you need a timer, use this: https://youtu.be/DN5ZcGKwm7U
🔹Before starting, ensure your camera view is wide enough that you will be able to see the entire tower. If the tower goes out of frame, the attempt is considered invalid
🔹 Use a tripod to keep the camera still
🔹 Building time must not exceed 3 minutes
🔹After the 3 minute timer stops, the tower must be freestanding for at least 3 seconds to be considered a valid attempt
🔹Count the total layers on camera (a layer must have 2 dominoes - if only 1 domino remains at the top of your tower, count up until the layer beneath)
🔹Optional: Try to keep track of how many attempts you’ve made! Feel free to make a copy of this Google Sheet to record your progress: https://bit.ly/4aHb9NV
🔹 You may attempt the challenge as many times as you’d like, but please only submit your best attempt
🔹 Only ONE submission is allowed per person
🔹 Do not speed up the video you submit - building should be real time and unedited
🔹 Please do not add music or additional watermarks to the video
🔹Optional: If you create a separate video showing your other attempts or anything else related to this challenge, wed love to see and potentially include in the compilation as well!
🔹 Deadline to submit your video is May 13, 2024 at 11:59PM EST
🔹 Adult supervision is recommended for kids who may be using a ladder or step stool. Hevesh5 is not responsible for any injuries that may occur as a result of participating in this challenge.
🔹 Must be 13 years or older or have a parent’s permission to submit your video
🔹 Have fun :)
SUBMITTING YOUR VIDEO (2 STEPS - PLEASE READ CAREFULLY):
1) Post the video of your best attempt on social media (YouTube, Instagram, TikTok, or Twitter) using the hashtag #H5dominocommunity in your caption. If you submit your entry through YouTube, please include the number of layers you reached and how youd like to be credited (name/username) in the video title (example title: #H5dominocommunity 1x1 Tower Challenge: 71 layers - Hevesh5). If you submit through Instagram, make sure your account is not set to private, otherwise, please use another platform. Here’s an example video submission so you can get an idea of what we’re looking for: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iSVzcp8ZNKI
2) Submit the video link of your best attempt at https://Hevesh5.com/submissions by Monday, May 13, 2024 at 11:59PM EST for a chance to be included in the final compilation video. NOTE: I cannot guarantee that all videos submitted will make it into the final compilation. Please double check that you’ve followed all rules and guidelines.
