Considering the fact that Hearthstones continue cooling down after you log out, utilizing portals and teleportation right before logging out to reach an area of "gold making interest" (such as one with a rare spawn or a special vendor) can be a great way to make some extra gold in a very short period of time. When you log back in, not only will you be able to check those spots again, you can also just Hearth back to where the real action is!
