Perfect Dark is broken!

A true masterpiece when it was released in the year 2000 for the Nintendo 64, Perfect Dark was technically leaps and bounds ahead of its predecessor Goldeneye 007. However, while Goldeneye was relatively simple in its mechanics and level designs, it was extremely robust in that it has forced speedrunners for the last 20 years to play out levels, for the most part, how they were intended.

Perfect Dark on the other hand, with its multiple storied stages and increased freedom of movement, combined with some poorly constructed boundaries has allowed for some pretty creative ways to proceed through levels.

While an exhaustive list on all of the game breaking exploits snd glitches speedrunners have discovered over the years would be too long for this video, here are the top 5 biggest skips ever found in Perfect Dark speedrunning.
