You don't even have to take the hike to the actual lookout tower, you can watch it right from the parking lot! Another awesome place is Newfound Gap! Newfound Gap is perfect especially in the Fall when you'll have direct view of the orange sun rolling over the mountain tops. The best place for sunset is Morton Overlook!
