The 1st event of the European HillClimb Championship and one of the most impressive Hillclimb events of the Year, Rechbergrennen in Austria had an absolutely tremendous entry list making for one of our very few Top 25 ever on the Channel given the sheer amount of Top machines present. Featuring some of the most proeminent Monsters in Europe, here we have plenty of Lancer Evo, Impreza, Porsche in various guises, Judd powered beasts, Skoda units and now with return of 3 machines that this event and our Sport has missed dearly, in the form of Tom Strasser and his Corrado, Bratschi and his faster than ever Evo and the legendary Quattro S1 by ProSpeed. And even most important we saw Karl Schagerl´s record being broken!!
