This level is VERY fun. This is like, almost the ideal perfect demon. This is probably one of my new favourite demons of all time up there with The Golden and SUPERHATEMEWORLD. It is absolutely phenomenal. It has a few flaws, yes, but for the most part, it's amazing bro.

ok yeah so Ive been playing for this because Im bored and woww the demon kid inside me clearly is still brewing due to the fact that this is now accidentally my main focus instead of lament but whatever. Ive been playing this for a few days now, though only really properly for today and yesterday before that I just played it here and there for like 20 minutes lmao.
I started the level for the gdsr ship run, of 43-84, but kept going because the level seemed like it had some really good base gameplay, which it does, which actually really surprised me. Im really enjoying the level so far. So far it feels harder than The Golden and Torrent for sure, but easier than GRIM (probably Ill give an actual opinion when I beat it), honestly it might be just equal in difficulty to osp for me lol.
Ill try to beat this over the next few weeks but idk well see. :D

ok so yes I did get 69% but to clear up any misconception, no, the clicks in this completion are not real. But also, no I am not on my incredible cheating arc! My mum started yapping about shit literally as soon as the attempt started and I was just like yeah no I dont want this in my video like her voice is louder than my fucking clicks so fuck it we ball Im nickxd now
the reaction is real btw, I cut back to my mic audio as soon as the attempt ends. If anyone for some ungodly reason doubts my legitimacy just dm me on discord NucDev and Ill send u the ver with my actual clicks, god I hope thal doesnt take itself that seriously but who knows.
As for the actual progress, HOLY FUCK! Lol. Thats a crazy progress to just, fucking get. Especially from 54%, I dont really call that a fluke as such, but I got through some rly difficult gaps, especially 62-63! I am not surprised at all by this death, I got too nervous and just couldnt execute this click pattern in this transition, which is completely fair as it is quite stamina based, and I just didnt have that this session, especially with those nerves.
It seems I am beginning to reach the endgame of this verification, slowly.. I will keep you all updated! Wish me luck!! btw yes I still think this is harder than final fantasy.

I really do not like this level, it constantly just felt unfair and the click pattern is just kinda awkward for me because Im not really good at microreleases. Im not saying the level itself is bad but it really wasnt for me. Glad to have gotten it beaten regardless though!
69-70 is randomly impossible also which Im not a big fan of, but I didnt die to the last click so, who can complain!!

Well well well.. I finally beat a new hardest demon after over a YEAR?? Ever since beating The Golden in January... it really is about time. Since then I have become a challenge player, of course, but still... Im really glad to finally have one. And by the way to elaborate on the specific title, I am saying hardest demon because I dont think this is as hard as GRIM.
So, about Arcturus itself! This level, is absolutely FANTASTIC. I love it, so much man. I have pretty much 0 complaints about the gameplay or decoration. The atmosphere is just so great and works so well. Of course the deco is nothing incredible but it, IT JUST WORKS OKAY!! I love it. It feels like an old impossible level just as it should. The predrop is really fun and consistent, the dual wave is super cool and does actually get very consistent despite the weird hitboxes due to ground spikes. The mini wave is REALLY good base gameplay, well balanced, and also gets very consistent and is so enjoyable. The first third of the ship is REALLY good ship gameplay, which surprised me as Id never seen gameplay that good in a demon EVER. Also is very consistent. The middle of the ship with the straight fly and teleportals is also really good and really fun. It is a little bit awkward and I died there quite a bit, but overall its really fun and consistent (Starting to see a trend...). The last third of the wave (and the start of the ending) is also, some really good base gameplay! However, my ONLY complaint of the level is that this part is just randomly chokepoint heavy, with the first few control gaps and THE DEADLY 78% YELLOW ORB carrying the entire part, both horrible with nerves. The last wave to 100 is pretty good base gameplay, nothing to really complain about, I guess apart from the 91% saws... which I died to... But thats mainly my fault, not the levels.
I got pretty unlucky, I died to 91% TWICE, which was really sad but I managed to overcome it despite this being really hard, Im sure this was obvious to anyone I talked to during this grind... but its finally done. I had 11 total ending attempts including completion, and 23 total ship attempts (43%+ from 0) which was a bit more than I was hoping for but whatever...
As for difficulty, the two waves are for sure the hardest part, especially the mini wave from 0, both just, very hard to get used to but both do get very consistent, the ship overall is... I know Im the ship guy and all but its pretty free and is like a gold challenge in its entirety. I never found it hard at all even whilst learning it. This level is very skill based which of course was great for me.

My difficulty opinion: Harder than The Golden, easier than GRIM. Honestly, the exact same difficulty as Our Special Place for me. So this sits at a new 2nd hardest (It probably is barely harder than osp).

but yes wish me luck I guess. I do not consider this a new hardest because I think both final fantasy and interconnected are harder.
