Nintendo is a company that has recently gained the reputation of "playing it safe," with their games. The New Super Mario Brothers series hasn't made any major changes since the first game, and everyone nintendo console is guaranteed to have a game from each of Nintendo's major series. The problem is that Nintendo has only created two new major series since 2000 (Pikmin & Splatoon), however there are some weird, obscure, and just plain bizarre "gems," that Nintendo has had a hand in.
