These are my personal favorites this year, of course taste varies.
But all in all this was an excellent year for Extreme Metal, almost as good as 2016 and there's certainly lots to digest, discuss and discover.
Hope you enjoyed the video and found something you dig.
I know there's still 30 days left but I doubt that I'm gonna change my mind on any of the top 9 Albums, and Arckanum deserves a spot simply because the band is one of the very pioneers of the genre and this is their/his fairwell album.
I strongly recommend listening to the full Albums instead of just the snippets, because they might not be able to show the full spectrum of the music.
Consider supporting the musicians and the labels that put out your favorite albums of the year, they deserve it.
And don't tell me the thumbnail is shitty! I know the thumbnail is shitty!
