Defensive dispels are abilities that remove harmful debuffs on friendly players and NPCs, as opposed to offensive dispels which remove helpful buffs from enemies. The 2 main requirements that were looked at when making this list were how many debuffs can the ability dispel and how many players can the ability work on.
