Happy New Year folks!
As is customary to ring in the year after the dogshit that was 2016, here are my Top 10 favorite hit songs of the year. I have a feeling you might find some of my choices to be questionable, but hold your thoughts until the end and be respectful if you disagree.
Also, I read off a long list of albums I liked this year, and I highly encourage you to scope them out, especially those by bands you have not heard of before. Had I known Erra released a new album this year, I'd have probably included them in the already long list. And in case you are wondering, I also have not listened to "Blackstar" by David Bowie due to my not being the hugest Bowie fan out there. I'm sure it's a good album, I just have not listened to it yet. R.I.P. David Bowie. Same with the billion other celebrities that passed away this year (including Tom Searle of Architects and the members of Viola Beach).
