Animation cancels are a type of glitch in Bloodborne. They can happen when you try to pick up an item without your feet touching the floor, skipping the animation.

In this video I beat ludwig with the following restrictions:
no rolling, sprinting or any action that involves pressing circle [hecc the circle button]
using a BL4 Character with no level ups
no buffs or runes
and without getting hit
This challenge took a while for me to get hitless and I played Ludwigs phase two really safe.
