No video at the end, couldn’t find one good enough 😀 Anyways.. I’m a bit proud of this editing for some reason, I think I may be improving..? Well, y’all wanted this series to continue, this is your fault /j Sorry about the ending, it was probably a bit much, but gotta keep it s a d, y’know? I think I made the story too long.

Though it’d taken a while, the rest of the group had gotten used to Akaashi’s form. Of course, they still remained cautious, but it was easy to remember that in the end he was still their friend. As their supplies began to drop, Bokuto announced he would be heading to the main camp, where you could trade whatever you needed, food for clothing, tools for weapons, etc. After a bit of consideration, they decided to plan a new route, also deciding Akaashi would accompany him to show the path where zombies were least active.

No more than five minutes had passed when Akaashi felt a sharp pain gash through him. He gasped quietly, looking around in a hazy panic as his vision blurred. He knew what was happening. He knew damn well why it was happening. While Bokuto was distracted, he ran. Had he stayed a moment longer, the situation would have turned out a lot worse. It’d been several weeks since he’d been bitten, but during that time he hadn’t infected anyone either. He knew at some point he’d have to, he wouldn’t have control over that, but he wondered, why now? Why, of all the times, with the person he was closest to?

He continued to run until his legs could carry him no longer, doubling over to catch his breath. At that moment, he smelled something strange. Something wonderful. He began walking towards it, breaking out into a sprint, before he lost any and all control of his body.

Akaashi’s eyes fluttered open as his vision began to focus, gaping in horror at the sight before him. A bloody mess. He’d bit someone. He stared for a moment longer before trying to stand up, almost immediately stopping. His eyes widened as a soft click echoed around him and the feeling of a metal object was pressed to his head. He didn’t move, though the shot wouldn’t hurt him physically, it was the person holding the gun that had already killed him mentally. It didn’t take a detective to know who that person was. The only person who had been around at the time, the only one who would’ve noticed immediately if Akaashi left.. The one person that had trusted him since the beginning.
