DIY Home & Garden Projects | Too HOT for TOMATOES? @DIYHGP | Uploaded 6 years ago | Updated 1 hour ago
Growing Tomatoes in Texas can be fun and productive. The season starts early March in some years, we put our plants in the ground by the First day of Spring, protect from a late frost or two, then grow them like crazy until it gets HOT. In this video I explain why this will be a POOR tomato season. The weather has shortened the bloom window by two week on the front end and a week on the back end.
If you live is a warm climate, then you must know about the bloom window and how it effects your tomatoes. You can learn in this video titled " The One thing they Never told you about Growing Tomatoes" youtu.be/1xEQuPNyUJ4
This Year it just may be too hot for our tomatoes to set fruit.
