The Majestic Dalmatian Pelicans of Kerkini.
It’s worth mentioning this is a special place in which the fishermen and fishing boats help the Pelicans in Winter when the fish are too low in the lake for them. In summer they won’t come near a boat. This is a rare instance where ‘man and nature’ have worked together to bring these guys back from the brink.
They are now thriving in Lake Kerkini thanks to these conservation efforts 🙌. @meganjamesphoto
