I was asked to make an 8 foot support pillar to replace a rotted out one, I used Iroko as it lasts well outdoors and any insect that tries to chew on it gets dead before it can damage it!

No detailed drawings and only a small part to copy, photos and measurements. Also my lathe tops out at 4' so I had to improvise
