The Tony Hawk's Pro Skater 3 + 4 Remake was announced recently and the reveal brings more questions than answers. From what we can piece together from the press release, Pro Skater 4 levels will not have the open-world goals format like the original, instead, they’ve opted to squeeze it down to the classic 2-minute formula like Pro Skater 1 through 3. While the parks might have been remade in 4K, by removing the Pro Skater 4 free roam mission structure that continued in the series up to Tony Hawk’s Proving Ground, you lose out on much of the missions and fan-favorite characters that made the game special. I’m still likely preordering, but Pro Skater 4 fans, is this remake cooked?
