Yeah, I told you guys I'd find it. So this is Tongo Hiti, one of the many cool projects from the legend Big Mike Geier. Tongo Hiti are a Hawaiian lounge cover band(?) formed as a house act for some Trader Vic's in Atlanta. They're probably best known for Princess Cruiser (track 2 here) being used as the haunting brainwash record in 12 Oz Mouse.
For a good few weeks I looked for this EP, as the aforementioned track was the only one publicly online FOREVER, until just yesterday when the absolute CHAD soulseek user Rasburry shared it with me! Thanks dude, your name will forever be praised by the slim demographic of 12 oz mouse fans who like this kind of music.
The Sade cover on here is TIGHT. Love that stuff!
