The Tonberry King is an extremely deadly opponent who has several 1-shot abilities. He can also cast Slow and Stop on your party members. Pairing Time and Magnify materia is the perfect way to counter this, so make sure to have that equipped on someone in your party. Magnify is equipped on Cait Sith when he joins your party, so don't think you've missed it. Bring plenty of Phoenix Downs, and make sure to Assess the boss and the regular Tonberry once he calls for friends!
