In StarKid’s newest musical comedy, TOMB QUEST, Corey Dorris plays Ben. Though he's recently passed, his presence hangs heavy over the gaming table. His in-game avatar was Benedict Blazebeard, the party’s fire-wielding wizard. Being in and out of hospitals for most of his youth, Ben credits his friends, and that old game, Tomb Quest, for giving him some of the happiest times of his life. Living well past the doctor’s predictions, Ben reaches his end with a sense of fulfillment that has somehow eluded his high school friends. It is Ben’s posthumous request that calls the party back to the table. He seems to have had some knowing intuition that his friends were meant to finish the quest.
TOMB QUEST is a new musical comedy written by Matt Lang & Eric Kahn Gale, with music by Clark Baxtresser and lyrics by Clark Baxtresser & Eric Kahn Gale. If funded, the show will premiere live this summer at the Colony Theatre in Los Angeles, CA, then hit YouTube a short time later. It will be directed by Nick Lang, produced by Becky Clark & Brian Holden, and star AJ Holmes, Kim Whalen, Curt Mega, Lauren Lopez, Joey Richter, and Corey Dorris.
