Join us as we get evacuated from the Tomb Blaster ride at Chessington world of adventures.
The ride started off awesomely and the recently refreshed queue line theming is nothing short of amazing. It genuinly feels like you are walking through another land far far away.
We boarded the ride and started our journey, I managed to rack up a decent score, and was definitely beating Laura and Darcy.... but then disaster struck... the ride stops and the show lights come on, illuminating what is normally a very dark... dark ride.....
We waited only a couple of minutes and were constantly assured by the ride ops that we would shortly be evacuated which was good to see.
We then got released from the ride vehicle and were escorted back along the side of the track to the station.
We love a good evac and it was amazing to see 'behind the scenes' of the ride. Its just a bit of a shame that Tomb Blaster seems to be having a few reliability issues currently.
