This was the first railroad crossing I recorded on November 30, 2025. That day, as this was the day before I had to head back home, I decided to get a few more railroad crossings documented in NC, and after that, I decided to completely finish up the LYNX light rail that had been stuck with gaps since 2019. But thankfully in 2025, I fixed that, and managed to not only document the last of the gaps, but also get some in action as well!
Crossing info:
Turn signal on the left: 4 - 12"x24" WCH Flatback w/ Leotek IL series LEDs, a WCH Style 4 gate mechanism, and NEG Clear LED gatelights.
Main signal on the left: 6 - 12"x24" WCH Flatback w/ Leotek IL series LEDs, a WCH Style 4 gate mechanism, NEG Clear LED gatelights, and a WCH E-Bell.
Turn signal on the right: 4 - 12"x24" WCH Flatback w/ Leotek IL series LEDs, a WCH Style 4 gate mechanism, and NEG Clear LED gatelights.
Main signal on the right: 6 - 12"x24" WCH Flatback w/ Leotek IL series LEDs, a WCH Style 4 gate mechanism, NEG Clear LED gatelights, and a General Signals Type 3 E-Bell.
Location:
Tom Hunter Road
Charlotte, North Carolina
Locomotives:
Both are LYNX Siemens-S70 locomotives, but I can't make out the number on either one.
