Tokyo Xtreme Racer is back! 18 years since the last installment in the franchise, TXR has been revitalized, and not only that, I believe has returned to a form so strong that it's enough to prove to the rest of the genre what this niche can be. In this review, I take a different perspective from a newcomer to the series and analyze the early access launch of Tokyo Xtreme Racer, and what it can teach the big dogs of this day and age.
